Surround yourself with consciousness
Hello, dreamers!
It's been a long time since I've given a thought to this month's topic, Environmental Wellness.
I am not saying that I do not care about this, because really, I do, and a lot; in my house, the person that always tries to turn off the light, to spend less time in the shower and recycling everything, it's me. Also, the people surrounding me bring positiveness into my life, and I make sure to give back to happiness and love.
For instance, according to Simon Fraser University (2014), Environmental Wellness refers to creating a safe, supportive, inclusive, and sustainable community in which every individual acknowledges the impact of their own decisions and society for the greater good.
You know, there are many ways to serve this great cause, and therefore make a better place to live in a cleaner world and supportive and responsible communities. In the following list, you will recognize the good that you can do to make your life pro-environmental wellness.
1. Use sustainable transportation.
2. Reduce, reuse, and recycle.
3. Take responsibility for your actions in this matter.
4. Make yourself aware of the dangers that surround you.
5. Try as much as you can to live an eco-friendly lifestyle.
6. Support local businesses.
There are other ways to improve the environmental wellness that you can part of your daily basis. So, I believe that as long as you feel good about doing this kind of action, it means that you are already making a huge effort to change for good the environment that you are surrounded by. Be conscious about the benefits you will be creating for future generations to enjoy; they will be thankful for such a fine community they will be living in, with everything green, safe, and revitalized.
It always comes to the effort we put into the activities we do for the benefit of everyone. Do not think that you will be doing yourself a favor but rather understand the effort you are making, which moves others to follow in your footsteps; one good action always triggers another; it’s like a chain reaction of goodness.
And remember, wear your mask! In Dream on Youth, you are loved and supported. Until next time, dreamers!
